My blonde Tele is hecho in mexico too, and no issues. That is very true! My 2004 Mexican Strat is a way better guitar than my 1990 USA Standard Strat, and the best Strat I've ever owned is a 2007 USA Fender Strat. Fender has been at the top of their game for a while now, I think. I know a lot of people don't want to hear that but the MIM's have come a long way. Actually, I would say that the Mexican Fenders are just as good as the American ones.
